The governing law states the applicant qualifications; PRC's current checklist describes the documents used to support an application. Verify the live checklist before filing because the Board may prescribe additional requirements.

  • Be of good moral character, good reputation, and sound mind and body as certified by the school and barangay, subject to the foreign-national rule in the law.
  • Hold a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from a CHED-accredited and government-authorized school, college, or university, or an equivalent foreign degree recognized or accredited by CHED.

What the CLE program covers

The February 2026 PRC program cited here groups the CLE into six published subject areas. The Board's succeeding-schedule adjustment uses the labels Criminal Law and Jurisprudence, Law Enforcement Administration, Crime Detection and Investigation, Forensic Science, Criminology, and Correctional Administration; this guide uses those official labels instead of inventing a separate percentage scheme.

Use the official coverage to plan your review. A short practice preview is not the complete PRC syllabus.

CLE exam-day preparation

The February 2026 CLE program cited here emphasizes early arrival, the Notice of Admission, identity and writing materials, and a restricted list of permitted belongings. Use the program and Notice of Admission for the applicable sitting before relying on these details.

CLE results and what is actually known
