Exam-day checklist

CLE exam-day preparation

The February 2026 CLE program cited here emphasizes early arrival, the Notice of Admission, identity and writing materials, and a restricted list of permitted belongings. Use the program and Notice of Admission for the applicable sitting before relying on these details.

Confirm the room and arrive early

The official February 2026 CLE instructions tell examinees to report to the school or building assignment before 5:30 a.m. on the first day to verify the room and seat number. Late examinees will not be admitted under that instruction.

Room assignments can be issued by regional office and can carry sitting-specific details. Use the current PRC room-assignment notice for the assigned venue rather than relying on a remembered center.

Follow the published attire and restrictions

The February 2026 instructions specify plain white collared attire and additional hair and clothing requirements for male and female examinees. They also state that no examinee may leave the room during the examination except for restroom necessities.

Bring no phone, smartwatch, Bluetooth device, portable computer, USB, notes, books, or other unlisted examination aid. The proctors' inspection and confiscation rules apply at the venue.
