What the CLE program covers

The February 2026 PRC program cited here groups the CLE into six published subject areas. The Board's succeeding-schedule adjustment uses the labels Criminal Law and Jurisprudence, Law Enforcement Administration, Crime Detection and Investigation, Forensic Science, Criminology, and Correctional Administration; this guide uses those official labels instead of inventing a separate percentage scheme.

Use the published sequence when planning review

The February 2026 program starts with general instructions and form filling, then places Criminal Law and Jurisprudence and Law Enforcement Administration on the first day. Crime Detection and Investigation follows on the second day, with the remaining program areas continuing on the published third-day schedule.

The February 2026 program lists weights beside the subjects. Those weights belong to that official program and should not be replaced by equal-weight assumptions when building a study plan.

Keep practice questions separate from PRC coverage

The practice banks on this site are study aids organized into CLE categories. They are not PRC examination questions and this editorial guide does not represent professionally reviewed or Board-approved material.

For an authoritative boundary, compare study notes with the current sitting's PRC board program and the Board's published syllabus or tables of specifications when available.
